- SPACE AUDIT
First of all we would assess all aspects of you existing space & equipment, based on your requirements, including; workstations, collaboration facilities, conference and meeting spaces, reference areas, staff and social areas, data centre, entrance lobby, storage, training areas. We would then submit our observations and make some suggestions as to where we see improvements could be made. With the clients agreement we would then begin to look at some design solutions.
Provide a bespoke design service from concept through development to a final solution, whilst managing the budget and fulfilling our clients needs and maintaining all the necessary current standards.
- 3D VISUALS
We can produce three dimensional prespective visuals to help you visualize and understand how the space will look and feel prior to commencement of works.
In the case of work places, block planning the whole building/floor is very likely as part of the design process, to ensure correct client accommodation/number requirements are met before then implementing partitions, lighting/power, floorboxes and corridor layouts. Then begins the planning of each department with desk system, storage, partitioning, local and prime circulation, escape routing, all on CAD to facilitate future building management.
- FINISHES CO-ORDINATION
Procure samples, present concepts based on the client's briefing, then develop the chosen design and co-ordinate all building and furniture finishes into a single cohesive design specification supported by detailed drawings.
- FURNITURE AND STORAGE
Audit existing furniture and storage; comment on shortcomings and misuse. Shortlist and specify any new furniture, with mock-ups for client to assess suitability if required.
Shortlist suitable partition systems taking into account relocation, performance, user requirements and budget.
- VOICE AND DATA LAYOUT
Layout floor boxes/trunking to comply with approved workstation layout. Position equipment to ensure correct cabling requirements.
- INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Co-ordinate any outside Consultants, voice and data vendors, floorbox requirements, cable installation.
- EC DIRECTIVE ON DISPLAY SCREEN EQUIPMENT
Ensure that environment, layouts and workstations conform to all Health & Safety regulations.
- BUDGET & PROGRAMME
Budget all items under our responsibility to include designed items/areas. Supervise orders and advise client of budget progress. Program overall project to amalgamate with main contract program and any client purchases outside the main contract.
- MOVE MANAGEMENT
Prepare documentation of requirements for tender to removal contractors. Programme move, co-ordinate all contractors involved and formulate instructions for staff on how to pack and label all items. Manage and co-ordinate progress of actual move.
- LOCAL AUTHORITIES
Make application for any relevant approvals with local authorities, including Building Regulations and Planning and/or conservation. Produce fire plans locating all appliances and routing.
Select and co-ordinate additional equipment/design features from; tea-room accessories, signage, planting, recycling bins, digital wall graphics, notice boards.
Assess and propose suitable internal and external signage as required.
- FURNITURE INSTRUCTIONS
Arrange for instruction by suppliers on user familiarisation and general maintenance for key personnel.
- MAINTENANCE MANUALS
Source all items for potential future repair, replacement or maintenance and transcribe relevant maintenance procedures for use by cleaners. Assist on programming and schedule as required.
